Students in the M.S.W. Program online option are required to take 60 credits spread out over 20 courses or 42 credits over 14 courses for the advanced standing social work master’s degree. Students can earn their degree in a full-time 16-month or two-year track; part-time over a three- or four-year period; or in our accelerated one-year advanced standing M.S.W. option for B.S.W. degree holders who meet certain requirements. To be eligible for the advanced standing option, you must have earned your B.S.W. degree within the last five years from a CSWE-accredited institution with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 and received a “B” or “pass” in senior field placement.
